Meet Kelly Murphy - owner

Kelly is the founder of Joy Yoga, a small boutique yoga studio created with one simple belief: everyone deserves peace, calm, and space to breathe. As a wife, mom of three, middle school teacher, and yogi, she understands just how overwhelming and busy life can feel. Between family life, teaching, responsibilities, and the constant pace of everyday life, yoga became a place of healing, grounding, and renewal for her and she wanted to create that same feeling for others.Joy Yoga was built to be a sanctuary for busy moms, stressed professionals, beginners, and anyone simply looking to slow down for a moment. With intentionally small class sizes, the studio offers a welcoming and nonjudgmental environment where students can truly relax, feel supported, and reconnect with themselves. At Joy Yoga, there is no pressure to “perform” or be a certain type of yogi ...just space to breathe deeply, move gently, and find calm.Kelly believes deeply in the power of community, connection, and creating moments of joy in everyday life. Her hope is that every person who walks through the doors of Joy Yoga leaves feeling lighter, more peaceful, and reminded that they deserve care too.

Meet Nicole

Nicole is our talented Reiki practitioner and sound healer, offering deeply relaxing and meaningful experiences for the Joy Yoga community. Her sound baths are both grounding and creatively inspiring, often incorporating opportunities for yogis to engage in gentle crafting or journaling alongside the healing power of sound. Nicole also provides private Reiki sessions, creating a peaceful and supportive space for individual healing, balance, and restoration.

Meet Kristin

For Kristin, yoga is a homecoming. Her teaching is dedicated to creating a sanctuary where you can shed the outside world and reconnect with your most grounding and authentic self. Through mindful movement and breath, Kristin invites you to explore your practice with curiosity, releasing expectations, and discovering the strength that comes from simply being you.
Kristin is a mother of two, certified prenatal and postpartum yoga teacher, and a doula in training. She works to support women through pregnancy, postpartum, and the real, lived experience of motherhood. Through education, yoga, nervous system support, and community-centered care in a space where you can soften, be held, and build.
